International Studies

The overall aims of the Jan Masaryk Centre are:

  1. To develop a high-impact and diverse research team of experts on international relations and politics, especially concerning China, Russia and energy security.
  2. To build a Europe-wide network of scholars focusing on research into contemporary China and its impacts on Europe and the world.
  3. To disseminate knowledge of China and Russia in the public sphere, including raising awareness among politicians, diplomats and journalists as well as the general public.
